Mr. Du Ping, a research fellow, is now the Executive Vice President of State Information Center and the Director-General of National E-government Network Management Center. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of China Information Association, China Human Resource Development Association and China Regional Economy Association. He is the standing member of council of China Society for Sustainable Development and a member of council of the Geological Society of China. His research priorities are regional economic development, land resource development and utilization, ecological and environmental protection, etc. He has chaired more than 30 government-sponsored research projects with five publications. Active participation was involved in the technical consultations for the ADB, UNDP, GIZ, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), etc.
