Xiong Xiaoge is currently the global executive vice president of the International Data Group (IDG) and chairman of Greater China, and the founding partner of IDG Capital (former IDG Venture Capital Fund). In the three years prior to joining IDG in November 1991, Mr. Xiong Xiaoge was the executive editor of the Electronic Edition of the Electronic Guide, the Asian version of the Electronic Herald, and the Asian version of EDN. Mr. Xiong Xiaoge is very concerned about the education of the motherland. In November 1995, he donated RMB 1 million to Hunan University to set up the “Xiong Xiaoge Scholarship”.
