Dr. Liao Chunyuan, founder and CEO of Liangfengtai, an internationally renowned AR visual interaction expert, selected by the Central and Shanghai “Thousand Talents Program (Startup)”. Graduated from Tsinghua University and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland. He used to be the Fuji Xerox Silicon Valley Research Institute in 2012 and returned to China to create Liangfengtai. He released the first soft and hard AR platform in China, including HiAR SDK, a technology-enhanced augmented reality development platform, and HiAR Glasses, the first augmented reality smart glasses based on visual interaction in China. Dr. Liao Chunyuan is the founder and CEO of HiScene, a leading provider of augmented reality technology in China. He is one of the outstanding national experts of the Chinese government's “Thousand Talents Program”. Dr. Liao received his bachelor's and doctoral degrees. He received his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University and the American University College of Maryland. He was a research scientist at the Palo Alto Laboratory in Fuji Xerox, Silicon Valley. He has won three major achievement awards for his outstanding research in augmented reality technology and won the ACM Conference Award twice. Dr. Liao founded HiScene in 2012, focusing on AR technologies and applications. HiScene released the first Chinese AR platform that combines the AR SDK and smart glasses.
