Dr. Yan Jing graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He worked in the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission. He is currently the President of Smart City System Services (China) Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Shanghai Engineering Survey and Design Co., Ltd. Vice Chairman of Shenzhen Robotics Association, Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee. He has long been engaged in the research and practice of smart low-carbon cities and new urbanization issues. He has participated in the planning and construction of 23 strategic emerging industrial bases in Shenzhen and participated in the formulation of the Shenzhen headquarters corporate policy. He creatively proposed the four-in-one planning model of “spatial planning + industrial planning + technical planning + financing planning” for smart low-carbon cities, and successfully applied to the integration of smart low-carbon production cities in more than 30 places such as Liuyang, Hong'an and Wuxi. The planning of the demonstration area helped the Shijiao District of Baotou City and Baijia Town of Liuyang City to successfully apply for the pilot of the National Smart City and formulate a task book.


He has delivered more than 10 keynote speeches at world-class forums such as the Eurasian Economic Forum and the Shenzhen International Low Carbon City Forum. He has published 3 monographs and special chapters by leading domestic and foreign publishers such as McGraw Hill, and published more than 40 SCI/EI search papers. He applied for 30 invention patents and received more than 20 media interviews with Phoenix Satellite TV, 21st Century Business Herald, China Business News, Hong Kong Commercial Daily and other media.
